Why did the chicken cross the road?

I am Dr. Siggy Freud, the cousin of psychiatry, and this is my podcast, “You are an ID-iot.” The format is simple: You ask a question and, if you include me in your will, I answer it.

Today’s question: Why did the chicken cross the road?

It depends on what kind of chicken you are talking about.

Was it a rotisserie chicken? If so, the chicken never crossed the road. It simply went round and round and round like a pole dancer in a strip club.

Was it a Southern Fried Chicken? In that case, the chicken, indeed, crossed the road. That’s because he was a soldier named Col. Sanders, who, by the way, was late for curfew. As punishment, he was shipped to Buffalo, NY, where he invented the wings that are now served in strip clubs across America.

Perhaps you are talking about Chicken Little, who came home to roost because she graduated college in debt, with no job prospects. Unfortunately for her parents, she refused to leave the nest, which forced THEM to fly the coop. Very sad because they could have been enjoying their retirement in Florida.

Now, back to your question — Why did the chicken cross the road? I will not answer it because it is too vague.

And with that, I am Siggy Freud and you are an ID-iot.
